Chicken and cheese are a great combination for this pasta dish... and of course garlic, too.

- 2 chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 250 g pasta I usually use the spirals although we have had it with penne in the past
- 2 tbsp butter around 40g
- 3 tbsp flour around 30g
- 250 ml chicken stock
- 250 ml milk
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 good pinch salt & pepper
- 100 g cheese of your choice, grated suggestion would be gouda or cheddar
Cook the chicken over a medium heat until fully cooked.
After the chicken is cooked, cook the pasta according to the packet or until ready.
Add the butter to a saucepan and when it has melted add the flour and whisk until it creates a smooth paste. Gradually add the liquids so that the sauce starts to come together. Add the garlic powder and season with salt and pepper (to taste) and add the cheese. Mix together until the sauce is thick and creamy.
Now that you have made the separate elements, mix them all together and serve immediately.
