RECIPES
Quick and easy recipes? No, I am really not joking here! This means that you can whip something up easily in the kitchen in a jiffy so that you can then dive into some tasty food. Everyone can get involved and you can always take turns with trying out the recipes (if you find that there are too many cooks in the kitchen at once).
When I first mentioned to a few friends about the idea of me doing a blog and part being recipes, they were a little nervous that the recipes I offered would be too difficult for them. I am pleased to say that they have tried many of the recipes I suggested and they were pleasantly surprised. I had a few that even told me to include certain recipes I haven’t used in many years. Keeping that in mind, it was certainly worthwhile to initially tell others about my blog to remind me to use some wonderful old dishes that were classics during my time at university.
ENOUGH FOR 2-4 PORTIONS
The majority of my recipes are for 2-4 portions as I usually base this on the two of us and for enough as leftovers the following day. If you need some help with making the portions smaller, please make sure to get in touch and I will do my best to give you the amount you require.
I really hate some recipes in old recipe books I have which give enough for 6 or 8! I mean I don’t think there are many nowadays which cater on a day-to-day basis for this quantity. Even still, I find that if you have a smaller quantity for a recipe, it is much easier to scale up.
