GUACAMOLE RECIPE
As a big garlic lover, I am also as much of a fan of guacamole and having it with chicken with my fajita/taco mix, with bread or with some nachos as a snack.
I always thought that I hated guacamole due to the fact I was only ever served a ready-made version from the supermarket. I was so glad that I took the plunge and tried to make it at home (sometimes great decisions lead to a very happy stomach).
This recipe rapido is a classic and I am sure you will add it to your favourite recipes after trying it out.

Ingredients
- ½ onion, diced finely
- ½ lime, juice of
- 1 good pinch salt
- 1 chilli pepper, deseeded and diced finely
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (fat cloves, in my opinion, are best - please remember that I am a lover of garlic though)
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 2 roma tomatoes, deseeded and diced
Instructions
- Please follow this recipe exactly in the order above.
- Mix together the onion, lime juice, salt, chilli pepper, garlic and then mash with either a masher or a fork the flesh from the avocado into the other ingredients.
- Stir in the tablespoon of sour cream and last of all stir in the chopped up tomatoes.
- Don’t feel like you need to be so exact with the measurements I use, you may prefer a little more lime juice or salt (just don’t use too much salt as it isn’t good for your health).
- Store in Tupperware in the fridge for up to 3 days.
